After nearly two decades together, We continue to resist settling into one identity. Originally formed as an indie band, we gradually absorbed the language of the city around us — electronic music, nightlife, repetition, movement — without abandoning the melodic and emotional core that defined our earlier work.
On VERSIONS, those worlds finally coexist without compromise. Instead of chasing coherence, we leaned into individuality during the writing process, allowing each member’s instincts to shape the material before pulling everything together afterward. Songs drift between intimacy and release, tension and warmth, structure and unpredictability.
"VERSIONS" is an exploration of perception, interpretation, and the creative chaos that occurs when three individuals make music through their unique filters.
And it is called VERSIONS because that's literally how we work. We often start a song together, then branch off in completely different directions. Sometimes we're working toward what seems like the same goal, but the outcome varies wildly. Other times, one of us sketches an idea, and another transforms it into something unrecognizable. Each of us is both creator and processor in the signal chain—like effects in a modular synthesizer, we color, distort, enhance, or reimagine whatever passes through us. Who creates what, who touches what when, who transforms whose version—it all changes everything.
